Not sure if I'm going to get anything on this, but as I mentioned, I joined the Y, and thus have been listening to my ipod more. I realized I have very few new bands on there.
I need peppy, kick ass music.
Any suggestions?
Right now I'm stuck with punk and ska from 2002. And that's just sad. All my modern mellow indie music isn't the best to run to.
(This incidentally ties into Deonne's post about music and exercise.)

So I guess "You Shook Me All Night Long" isn't doing it for you? Ha.
My favorite workout song lately is Shane Nicholson's "Safe and Sound." Not sure what kind of music you're into, but it's extremely catchy, smart, indie folk rock. And there's always "I Wanna Be Sedated" - God bless the Ramones.
I actually have a decent amount of Lily Allen and The Virgins on my running playlist. But to be fair, I also have The Beatles, Queen, and TMBG.
Ok new fun running music? I'd recommend Lady Gaga, MIA, Vampire Weekend and Wolfmother

Thanks guys. Spring break is going to be getting the apartment clean, and finding new music time.
